Dear Friends,
What kind of 21st century city will our Columbia become? This is one of the central questions I raised during our recent campaign. And now, as your City Councilwoman-Elect, I renew my pledge to do everything possible to ensure that we will be recognized as a safe, vibrant city, characterized by the distinctive qualities and unique features that make us "Columbia" and poise our city for positive, dynamic growth in the future.
Throughout the campaign I came in daily contact with numerous residents who raised questions with me about a host of issues including public safety, city administration, neighborhood integrity, code enforcement, growth, and transportation. Since the election on April 1st, I have had some additional time to reflect on these and other issues that we must address. I want to bring you up to date on my thoughts and activities over the last two weeks and to invite your input on several matters.

Next City Council Meeting is April 16th
I will be attending the City Council meeting tonight, April 16th, at 6:00 pm at Hampton Park at 117 Brandon Avenue. Take a look at the agenda and consider joining me at the meeting! Again, I appreciate your thoughts and support as I prepare for my new duties on Council. I need you actively engaged with me in shaping our 21st century Columbia!
